Our rustic lodge is located on the banks of the beautiful Watauga River, halfway between Johnson City and Elizabethton. The lodge was designed to resemble a horse barn and sits on 7 acres with over 600 feet of river frontage and consists of 5 cabins, that can comfortably sleep 24. We have plenty of parking and a two acre river front lot available for an event tent.

Great place for weddings and family reunions!  With 6 cabins ranging in size from 700 to 2,000 sq. ft., we are able to accommodate 29 people comfortably. We think you will agree that we have the perfect venue whether it is a weekend getaway or a family reunion.

The Magnolia Cabin is a private tiny home located on the river next to the barn cabins. It has one bedroom that has twin beds or can be converted into a king bed. One bath with full kitchen. This cabin does not have a dishwasher but does have all the other amenities. Guests can use the washer/dryer located in the barn cabins.

The Willow Cabin is our newest private cabin located approximately 300 yards from the main complex. It is a 900 sq. ft 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin with a full kitchen, washer and dryer and a full length rear deck overlooking the Watauga River. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the master bath has a large shower. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bathroom has a shower/tub combo.

The upstairs Laurel cabin has 600 square feet of living space. Laurel cabin have a queen bed, queen sleeper sofa, one full bath, along with a full kitchen and living area. The Laurel cabin has a balcony at both ends — one balcony overlooks the river and the other has views of rolling pasture fields. The downstairs Hemlock cabin has 600 square feet of living space. Hemlock Cabin has  2 bedroom 2 full baths.  There is now a master suite with 2 twin beds that can be pushed together to make a king.

The Sycamore cabin is located downstairs and has all of the amenities listed above along with a loft area that has 2 bunk beds and 2 twin beds. The Sycamore has a regular sofa vs. a sleeper sofa along with a full bath downstairs and a half bath in the loft area.

The Hemlock and Sycamore cabins both have double glass doors that allow for a beautiful view as well as easy access to the river.

The Cedar Cabin is a newly built 3,000 sq. ft. rustic-modern cabin with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and sleeping porch. For outdoor use there is a wrap around porch with a large rear deck overlooking the Watauga River. The upper level of Cedar has a full modern kitchen. The washer and dryer are located on the top floor. The lower level of Cedar is a private suite complete with a full kitchen and washer/dryer.

All linens are included — all you have to do is pick up some food and bring your personal items — all other items will be provided for you, including free firewood! Kitchens are fully equipped with dishes, cookware, toaster, coffee maker and microwave.

We are pet friendly and do not charge fees. Sorry-no cats due to guests with allergies. We do ask that pups are non-aggressive & are on flea control.  

All cabins have heat/air conditioning, ceiling fans, central laundry facility, and gas grills.

We no longer have an RV site.  We have since replaced it with the tiny home-Magnolia
